Celia Valel

Celia Valel is a lawyer experienced in the areas of taxation law, corporate and commercial law, charities and not-for-profits law, trust law and estate planning. She has a strong interest in serving her community and has volunteered with organizations working to address food insecurity, poverty and homelessness.

She currently works as Crown Counsel for the Government of Manitoba and was previously a Partner at MLT Aikins LLP. Prior to her legal career, she worked as an Engineer in the process control, automation and transportation industries. She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Manitoba in 2012 and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Alberta in 2003.

Celia is a long-time resident of St. Vital and the grateful mother of three energetic children.
